Workshop was held and any other business that may come before the Board at this
time
There was a budget workshop and meeting of the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Tully on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 7:00pm in
the Municipal Building.

Pledge of Allegiance/Call to
Order
Mayor Greenwood led the Pledge
of Allegiance and called the meeting to order at 7:02pm.
Public Comment
Budget:
After much discussion Trustee Flaherty moved that we move
the tentative budget to preliminary status.
Motion was 2nd by Trustee Yonko. All ayes carried.
The March 12th budget workshop will be
cancelled. Clerk will alert the
paper.
A request was made to add to the April agenda the need for 3
quotes for new fire hydrants.
Trustee Yonko will look into the boy scouts painting the
fire hydrants.
Upon motion by Trustee Poellot, 2nd by Trustee
Yonko the following resolution was passed.

The General Election of the Village
Of Tully, New York,
to be held on
March 18, 2014

The Board of
Trustees of the Village of Tully, met in regular session at the Municipal
Building located at 5833 Meetinghouse Road, in the Town of Tully, Onondaga
County, New York on the February 26th, 2014,
commencing at 7:00 o’clock P.M. local time, at which time and place the
following members were:

Upon motion by Trustee Poellot, 2nd by Trustee
Yonko the following resolution was adopted unanimously.
WHEREAS, all
interested persons had due notice of said meeting pursuant to Section 94 of the
Public Officers Law (Public Meetings Law), said meeting was open to the general
public and due and proper notice of the time and place thereof was duly given
as required by law; and
WHEREAS, Section
15-104 3 (a) Election Law requires that March 9, 2014 is the last day for the
Board of Trustees to adopt a resolution stating (1) polling place in each
district (2) hours during which polls are open (at least noon to 9:00 P.M.); (3) names and addresses of
candidates and offices nominated for and terms of office; and (4) abstract of
any proposition; now therefore be it
RESOLVED:
1. The
date of the annual election for the Village of Tully shall be on the 18th day
of March 2014;
2. That
the Village of Tully constitutes one election district and the polling place
for such district shall be at the Municipal Building of the Village of Tully,
located at 5833 Meetinghouse Road in the Town of Tully, New York
3. The
hours during which the polls shall be opened for voting shall be from noon
until 9:00 P.M. in the evening.
4. The names and addresses of all those who
have been duly nominated in
accordance with the provisions of
the Election Law for Village Office
whose certificate or petition of nomination has been filed with the Village
Clerk and the office and term of such office for which they have been so
nominated as follows:

5. The ballot shall contain no
propositions.
RESOLVED, that the Clerk be and
she hereby is directed to publish a copy of this resolution in the Post
Standard Newspaper on or before March 9, 2014 and to post a copy of said notice
in at least (6) conspicuous places in the Village and at the polling place on
or before March 9, 2014.
The question of the adoption of
the foregoing resolution was duly put to a roll call vote which resulted as
follows:

The resolution was thereupon
declared to be duly adopted.
I, the undersigned Clerk of the
Village of Tully, DO HEREBY CERTIFY, that the proceeding resolution was duly
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tully at a meeting of said
Board duly called and held on February 26, 2014, that the said
resolution was entered in the minutes of said meeting; that I have compared the
foregoing copy with the original thereof now on file in my office and that the
same is a true and correct transcript of said resolution and of the whole
thereof.
I FURTHER CERTIFY, that all
members of said Board had due notice of said meeting.
