DPW

Pump house siding:  As per the Village procurement policy for work under $10,000.00 we do not need three quotes.  Comfort quote:  $9,180.00, W2Operator:  $9,975.00

Upon motion by Trustee Flaherty, 2nd by Trustee Poellot it was unanimous to accept the lowest bid by Comfort of $9,180.00 contingent on “prevailing wage language”.

Repair of Water leak:  A water leak in front of NBT Bank was repaired – DPW stated that it has really made a difference in pump time.

We also have a homeowner that has a small leak; as soon as the weather breaks they will begin repairs.

Training Report:  Annual samples were taken and reported

Maintenance Report:  An actuator valve was sent back to the factory.  The quote for repair is $3,500.00.  We are waiting for a quote on a new one.  This valve controls the amount of air introduced into the system.

CODES: No report

Counsel: No report

Engineer: No report

New Business:

Chief Water Operator, Harold Kiehl received a letter from the NYS Department of Health applauding our commitment to improve oral health.  The Village was awarded a Water Fluoridation Quality Award.  (Copy of the letter is attached)
