February 4,  2015  Regular Meeting

There was a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tully on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 7:00pm in the Municipal Building.

Pledge of Allegiance/Call to Order

Deputy Mayor Theresa Flaherty led the Pledge of Allegiance and called the meeting to order at 7:02pm.

Motion was made by Trustee Vernay, 2^nd by Trustee Poellot to approve the minutes from the January 7, 2015 meeting.  Ayes carried. 

Upon motion by Trustee Poellot, 2^nd by Trustee Yonko it was unanimous to accept the treasurer’s report, subject to audit.

Upon motion by Deputy Mayor Flaherty, 2^nd by Trustee Poellot it was unanimous to approve the transfers.

Public Comment:

DPW:

Verizon OGS contract:  Clerk will check out the OGS website and verify service quote #PS63765.  It appears to be a much better deal.  Board will consider options at the March meeting.

New pick-up purchase:  Upon motion by Trustee Poellot, 2^nd by Deputy Mayor Flaherty it was unanimous to approve purchase of a 2015 model cab and chassis under government contract not to exceed the budgeted amount of $25,000.00.

Maintenance Report:  Backhoe needs work and Harold will get at least two quotes and report back. 

Training Report:  No new training

New home is going up on Village View Drive

New Business:

The Town is the assessing party for the Village.  Therefore the Village cannot appoint a member to a Town Board.  The Village is however still looking for one person to serve on the Joint Planning Board.

Audit Bills

Upon motion by Trustee Poellot, 2^nd by Deputy Mayor Flaherty, it was unanimous to review and authorize the accountant to pay the bills, subject to audit.. 

Upon motion of Trustee Poellot, 2^nd by Trustee Yonko it was unanimous to adjourn at 8:05pm.
