There was a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tully on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 7:00pm in the Municipal Building.

Present:

Pledge of Allegiance/Call to Order

Mayor Elizabeth Greenwood led the Pledge of Allegiance and called the meeting to order at 7:01pm.

Minutes of the February 4th meeting will need to be reviewed at the next meeting.

Upon motion by Trustee Poellot, 2nd by Trustee Vernay it was unanimous to accept the treasurer’s report, subject to audit.

Upon motion by Trustee Vernay, 2nd by Trustee Poellot it was unanimous to approve the transfers.

Public Comment

Kings Corner market will be held again this summer.  The Village will set up a bicycle rack at the 4 corners.

DPW

Verizon OGS contract:  DPW and the clerk cannot get a response thru the website or by phone about the Verizon OGS contract.  We will keep trying.

New pick-up purchase:  the truck has been ordered and will be delivered in 4-5 months.

Fluoride Saturator:  Upon motion by Trustee Vernay, 2nd by Trustee Poellot it was unanimous to accept bid from Tri sales of $1,643.00

D.O. Meter:  Upon motion by Trustee Poellot, 2nd by Trustee Vernay it was unanimous to accept the bid of $1,229.12 from Fisher Scientific. 

Backhoe:  waiting for more quotes and then a decision will be made on whether to keep repairing this one or invest in a new one

Maintenance Report:  We had 2 water breaks on Austin Road and 3 frozen water services. 

Training Report:  most of the month was spent plowing, hauling and rearranging snow

Codes:

 Two new homes are going up on Village View Drive

Counsel:

No report

Engineer:

No report

Unfinished Business:

Counsel is reviewing a usage form for the Precinct building.

New Business:

The Mayor will confirm that we have a candidate for the Joint Planning Board. 

NYMIR wishes us to form a safety committee.  We are hoping that we can form one jointly with the town.

Audit Bills

Upon motion by Trustee Poellot, 2nd by Trustee Vernay, it was unanimous to review and authorize the accountant to pay the bills, subject to audit.. 

Upon motion of Trustee Vernay, 2nd by Trustee Poellot it was unanimous to adjourn at 8:10pm.
